You will be taught according to the international educational plan of IKO which is a guarantee that you will get proper training. At the end of the course we will certify you to that level you have reached.

The IKO Discovery & Intermediate programs are designed to help you learn in a safe way. Our instructors will respect your rythm and take you through all the steps to reach your goal.

Your level will be certified with your IKO Kiteboarder Card at the end of your lesson.

Content of training:

• Windwindow, where the kite generates power.
• Spotcheck and risk analysis.
• Equipment.
• Set up a trainerkite. 
• Launch and landing of a kite and specific flying drills.
• Set up a powerkite.
• Safety system and features.
• Communication, signals, rules and right of way.
• Flying a powerkite in the water.
• Relaunch powerkite in water.
• Bodydragging exercises.
• Selfrescue. 
• Theory of wind, currents and tidal water.
• Landbased training and waterstart techniques on a kiteboard.
• Practice waterstart.
• Reflection and feedback of the day. 

The goal with this class is that the student will have the knowledge and experience to independently continue to develop as a kitesurfer.

All classes include loan of all gear including helmet and wetsuit.
